Purple to Blue Belt - Solo
Red to Brown III - with a partner

Meaning of Form

The Offense-Defense forms are equivalent to most schools' "one step sparring" techniques and are basically fundamental exercises.

The Form

All forms begin from the ready stance following a bow.
Offense
  1. Ready stance.
  2. Step back with left leg into front stance, down block over right knee with right arm. Keiop.
  3. Step, left middle punch.
  4. Step, right middle punch.
  5. Step, left middle punch, right high punch.
  6. Step, left middle punch, right high punch.
  7. Left leg front kick, setting left leg down in front into front stance, left middle punch.
  8. Right front kick, setting right leg down in front into front stance, right middle punch. Keiop.
Defense
  1. Step back, outside block with left arm.
  2. Step back, outside block with right arm.
  3. Step back, outside with left arm, high block with right arm.
  4. Step back, outside with left arm, high block with right arm.
  5. Step back, down block with right, outside block with left.
  6. Step back, down block with left, outside block with right, reverse punch with left. Keiop.
  7. Barro.
