Meaning of Form
The Tagook forms (Taikyoku in Japanese and Tai Chi in Chinese) represent the first cause. Symbolic of the beginnings of the Universe, the Tagook forms are the root of all the forms that follow.

The Form
All forms begin from the ready stance following a bow.
- Ready Stance.
- 1/4 turn to the left, into left front stance, down block over left.
- Step into right front stance, power up left, right middle punch.
- 1/2 turn to the right (clockwise), into right front stance, down block over right.
- Step into left front stance, power up right, left middle punch.
- 1/4 turn to the left into left front stance, down block over left.
- Step into right front stance, power up left, right high punch.
- Step with left leg into front stance, left high punch.
- Step with right leg into front stance, right high punch. Keiop.
- 3/4 turn to the left (counterclockwise), into left front stance, down block
over left.
- Step into right front stance, power up left, right middle punch.
- 1/2 turn to the right (clockwise), into right front stance, down block over right.
- Step into left front stance, power up right, left middle punch.
- 1/4 turn to the left into left front stance, down block over left.
- Step into right front stance, power up left, right high punch.
- Step with left leg into front stance, left high punch.
- Step with right leg into front stance, right high punch. Keiop.
- 3/4 turn to the left (counterclockwise), into left front stance, down block
over left.
- Step into right front stance, power up left, right middle punch.
- 1/2 turn to the right (clockwise), into right front stance, down block over right.
- Step into left front stance, power up right, left middle punch.
- Barro.
