- Congratulations to all the students who competed at the AAU Taekwondo Nationals in Fort Lauderdale last week. The following students brought home national medals:
- Maximus Bowman - Silver Point Sparring
- Matthew Radazewski - Bronze Point Sparring
- Briana Wood - Silver Point Sparring
- Tamara Adams - Gold Point Sparring
- Casssie Santiago - Silver Point Sparring
Also competing were Harrison Lee, Ross Coleman, and Liam Coleman. These students fought well, but did not receive a medal.

- On February 20, 2010 over 60 students of Charles Minter Taekwondo Karate and several students from Southern Jidokwan participated in a Spar-A-Thon benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association. All participants had a great time. Participants raised $4,225.00 and qualified the school for an appearance on the local Jerry Lewis Telethon. Participants who raised at least $25 received a wonderful Charles Minter Taekwondo t-shirt announcing "I was winner at the 2010 MDA Fight-A-Thon".
- On February 27, 105 students competed in the Charles Minter Taekwondo School tournament. This was the most competitors that had competed in a school tournament in many years, as competitors were awarded swords for first, second, and third place in all of the events. A great time was had by all, and we also collected over 600 non-perishable items that were donated to the local food bank in Snellville.
- On March 3, 17 students competed in the Georgia AAU Taekwondo State Qualifier. All 17 competitors qualified for the AAU Nationals in Fort Lauderdale this summer. Congratulations!!

If you are a paying member of the Competition and Demonstration Team, your annual fee includes your AAU registration, and we will get you your number when you need it.
