- Rescheduled Belt Tests
- Students with classes at the Charles Minter Snellville Studio, Lenora Park, Mountain Park, Lucky Shoals Park, Rhodes Jordan Park, and Dacula Park will test on Friday, February 19, 2010, at the Snellville Studio. White, Yellow and Orange Belts will test at 7:15pm. Green Belts and up will test at 7:45pm.
- Students with classes at George Pierce Park and Bogan Park will test on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at George Pierce Park. All Belt testing starts at 6:15pm.

School Tournament - Saturday, February 27, 2010. First Competition begins at 3 PM. (Forms, Board Breaks, Point Sparring) Entry Fee is $35.00 for one event, and $10.00 additional for each additional event. Spectator fee is $5.00 or Free with 2 canned or nonperishable items. (These will be donated to the Snellville Community Co-op.) For more information, please contact your instructor or Click Here. Instead of trophies or medals, we will be awarding swords for first, second, and third place. Awards for participants 13 and above are made of metal, while those for participants under 13 are wood. See photo for an example of first place awards.
- MDA Spar-A-Thon - We are excited to be partnering with the Muscular Dystrophy Association at our 2010 Charles Minter Tae Kwon Do Karate Spar-A-Thon February 20, 2010. The Spar-A-Thon will be held from 2 pm to 6 pm and we are expecting staff members from the Local Muscular Dystrophy Association to be in attendance. Participants in the Spar-A-Thon will have the opportunity to spar as much as they would like. This will be great training for our upcoming tournaments. Participants should ask their relatives, friends, and neighbors for donations made out to "MDA". Participants who collect more than $25 in donations will receive a special Charles Minter TKD tee shirt that proudly declares "I was a Winner at the 2010 MDA Spar-A-Thon". If we are able to make a donation of $3,500 or more to MDA, we will be invited to make a check presentation at the MDA Telethon in September. - AAU Registration - It is time to register for the AAU if you are planning on participating in AAU sponsored events in 2010. If you are a paying member of the Competition and Demonstration Team, your annual fee includes your AAU registration, and we will get you your number when you need it.
