Ryan Powell began studying martial arts in 1994. After seeing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mr. Powell decided to participate in a few Karate classes in Ohio. When his moved to Georgia, Ryan began lessons with Mr. Minter. In addition to his Karate training, he also trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Mr. Powell assists at Rocksprings Elementary, Bogan Park, Lenora Park, Rhodes Jordan Park, and the Snellville Studio. "Watching kids achieve their goals is really a rewarding thing," states Mr. Powell.

Mr. Powell is currently attending Emory University.
